NEVER FAKE IT®
The Rush wars

How to spot
fake Rush.

Rush is the most copied poppers brand on the planet. We made the original — and we still do. Here is exactly what separates the real bottle from a counterfeit, and where the fakes come from.

Authentic Rush

PWD Factory · NEVER FAKE IT®

  • NEVER FAKE IT® logo printed on the bottle or packaging
  • Official website printed on the bottle: www.never-fake-it.com
  • Crisp, sharp printing — no blurry edges or off-centre logos
  • Solvent has a clean, characteristic Rush scent (no rancid or chemical-cleaner smell)
  • Liquid is clear or very lightly tinted, never cloudy
  • Cap fits perfectly with no wobble
  • Batch number printed cleanly on the bottle
  • Sourced from one of our official partner stores

Fake Rush

Counterfeits, knockoffs, mystery factories

  • No NEVER FAKE IT® logo, no www.never-fake-it.com URL on the bottle
  • Generic Rush-style label that looks "almost right" — but the details are off
  • Blurry print, faded colours, off-centre logos
  • Sharp chemical or rancid smell (degraded or impure solvent)
  • Cloudy or yellow-tinged liquid (impurities, oxidation)
  • Loose cap or visible glue residue around the neck
  • No batch code, or printed crookedly with cheap ink
  • Sold by random marketplace sellers without traceability

The two signs of authentic Rush

On every authentic bottle.

Our brand is registered. We use two simple, obvious markers — present on every authentic bottle, easy to verify with your own eyes.

NEVER FAKE IT® official logo

1

The NEVER FAKE IT® logo

Printed clearly on the bottle or the packaging. The registered trademark of PWD Factory.

2

The official URL

Printed on the bottle. If the URL is missing or different, the bottle is not authentic Rush.

Counterfeit watch

Where the fakes come from.

We track this constantly. Here are the channels that flood the market with counterfeit Rush — and the warning signs.

critical

AliExpress, Wish, Temu, DHgate

Asian-marketplace listings using Rush-styled bottles with mystery-factory contents. Cheap, unstable, often impure. The fastest way to end up with a counterfeit.

high

Random eBay & Amazon sellers

Independent sellers without verified PWD Factory authorisation. Some relabel cheap bulk solvent as Rush. If they are not on our partner list, they are not authentic.

high

Funline-style imports

A wave of Chinese-made knockoffs flooding Europe under "Rush"-adjacent branding (Funline, Joker, Crazy, etc). Same bottle shape, completely different formula. Not Rush.

critical

A French laboratory copying our formulas

A small French lab has been producing Rush lookalikes and selling them through grey-market channels in the EU. Bottles mimic our packaging but carry neither the NEVER FAKE IT® logo nor the www.never-fake-it.com URL. We are tracking them.

critical

An Austrian producer making counterfeits

An Austrian-based producer manufactures and ships fake Rush across Europe. Their bottles imitate the visual identity but lack the registered NEVER FAKE IT® mark and the official URL on the label. Reported.

medium

Unbranded "generic Rush" bulk

Sold in bulk at sex shops or kiosks without any brand identity, claimed to be "the same thing as Rush". It is not.

medium

Pop-up online shops

Brand-new domains selling "Rush" at suspiciously low prices, with no contact info, no return address, no real company behind them. Site disappears after a few months.

medium

Convenience stores & gas stations (outside our partner network)

In some markets, alkyl nitrites are sold at random retail outlets. Without a verified supply chain back to PWD Factory, the bottle could be anything.

Why fakes are not just disappointing — they are unsafe

Fake Rush is produced by small unregulated workshops with none of our quality controls. Cheap raw solvents, no purity testing, no traceability. The bottle looks similar — the chemistry is not.

Common problems with counterfeit Rush:

  • Severe headaches and nausea — impure solvents trigger reactions the original would not
  • Weak or distorted effect — wrong concentration, wrong molecule, oxidised content
  • Faster degradation — the bottle goes flat in days, not weeks
  • Unknown additives — some counterfeits cut their nitrites with mystery solvents

What we do about it

PWD Factory takes counterfeit reports seriously. We track sources, document infringers, and pursue legal action where applicable. Every report from a consumer or distributor adds to our intelligence.
